历史沿革[edit]

此地早年为五岗乡所在，1955年8月改属上沙区，名五和乡。[1] 1958年2月归凤凰乡，同年11月并入共成公社，称王香地生产大队。[1] 1961年转隶上沙公社，1983年设王香地乡。[1] 1986年改为太平镇王香地管理区，1999年起称王香地村民委员会。[1]
