下修村位于太平镇，村落原在一座古庙旁聚居，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地早年属凤沙乡、五和乡等建制，1955年8月划入上沙区，称五和乡。[1] 1958年改属凤凰乡，同年归共成公社，改称下修大队。[1] 1961年起隶属上沙公社，1983年设下修乡，1986年改为太平镇下修管理区。[1] 2003年改称下修村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，下修村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
