江上村位于太平镇，村落建在一片开阔的岗坪上，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据村中相传，宋末元初时梁姓先祖为避金人南迁，此后在此定居建村。[2] 其后麦、姚两姓先后迁入，后来又迁走。明末卢姓人在此开村，初名祀村，村中此后以梁姓为多，约占95%。[2] 1949年前村庄旧称岡上村。[2] 1949年后，村地先后归五岗乡、三江乡管辖，1958年并入社圩公社，又改隶共成公社，成为江上生产大队。[2] 1968年起归上沙公社，1983年设江上乡。[2] 1986年11月改为太平镇江上管理区，1999年改称江上村民委员会。[2]
文化[edit]
村中有江上火把节，是镇内民俗活动之一。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，江上村获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号。[1] 2021年9月，村庄列入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产业为丝苗米。[1]
