碧塘村位于东成镇，村名取碧水蓝天之意，村民群居于此。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年8月，碧塘隶新兴县第二区稔碧乡；1952年12月改入第二区，称东成乡；1955年划为稔村区东联乡的一部分。1958年2月此地设碧塘村，归东成乡人民委员会，同年11月设碧塘大队，属稔村公社。1963年仍属稔村公社碧塘大队，1964年5月重归东成公社，以碧塘大队为名。1983年11月设碧塘乡，1986年11月设东成镇碧塘管理区，1999年改为碧塘村民委员会。[1]

碧塘村于2022年1月被广东省乡村振兴局列为2021年广东省乡村治理示范村的创建对象。同年6月，碧塘村获命名为第三批云浮市「民主法治示范村（社区）」；8月，又被列为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建对象。2024年4月，碧塘村列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」的创建名单。[1]
