扶桂村属东成镇，村名取希望村民大富大贵之意。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期，扶桂一带归新兴县第二区，建制称东成乡；1955年至1957年改隶稔村区的东成乡。1958年2月起隶东成乡人民委员会，同年11月编为稔村公社下的扶桂大队，1961年转属东成公社，1963年5月至1964年5月又归稔村公社。1983年11月设扶桂乡，1984年12月改设扶桂管理区，隶东成镇。2004年1月起改称扶桂村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]
