岑村是稔村镇的一个行政村，村名的来历是岑氏族人聚居于此。1916年以前，该村曾由新兴县与恩平县共同管辖，被称作「插花村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1916年以前，岑村位于新兴稔村与恩平县之间，被称作「插花村」，两县共管：李、梁两姓归恩平县，张氏归新兴县。1949年10月起，它属新兴县稔村和平乡。[2]

1957年，原属恩平县鹤州乡的岑村改由新兴县稔村管理，此事获省级民政部门批准。1958年，岑村属稔村人民公社，改称岑村大队。[2]

1966年至1968年，它以岑村大队的名义归稔村公社管委会；1968年起改为革命委员会。1983年，岑村大队改设管理委员会，并设岑村乡。1986年11月，它被划为管理区；1999年2月起改为岑村村民委员会。[2]

民俗与特产[edit]

2026年4月，岑村党群服务中心组织村民制作稔村濑粉，村中的濑粉能手向年轻党员和妇女传授手艺。[3]
