双阳村是稔村镇的一个行政村，村名取自它位于两个山脉之间的聚落。1999年起设双阳村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月，双阳属新兴第二区民乐乡；1955年起属稔村区民乐乡。1958年2月归稔村人民委员会，同年11月划入稔村公社的一个大队。[1]

1975年起，稔村公社设双阳大队。1983年至1986年称双阳乡，隶稔村区公所；1986年11月设为双阳管理区，1999年起称双阳村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，双阳村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
