坝塘村是稔村镇的行政村，村名取自旁边一个堤坝围成的池塘。该村2022年被认定为专业村，类别为水产养殖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月，坝塘属新兴二区和平乡。1950年起至1958年1月，它隶新兴县第三区和平乡。1958年2月归稔村人民委员会管辖，同年11月起改为稔村公社的坝塘大队。[1]

1983年后，坝塘改为乡建制，隶稔村区公所；1986年11月，它成为镇属的坝塘管理区。1999年起称坝塘村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

坝塘村于2022年10月获认定为专业村，类别是水产养殖，属「一村一品、一镇一业」计划。[1] 该村在2019年12月进入国家森林乡村的首批名单。[1]
