皮村是稔村镇的一个行政村，村名的意思是位于新兴县边缘的聚落。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

皮村在1949年前属新兴二区的东和乡，1955年改属稔村区东和乡。1958年11月起，它成为稔村公社的皮村大队。[1]

1983年至1986年间，皮村设乡，隶稔村区公所。1986年11月，它改为稔村镇的皮村管理区；1999年起定为皮村村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，皮村村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
