博雅地名网释其名为四周马山围成的聚落。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，村庄入选首批「广东省一村一品一镇一业专业村」名单，以牛油果为产业。[1][2]

2024年3月，村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2026年1月，村获评「第二批广东省百千万工程典型村」。[2] 车岗镇政府的《2026年政府工作报告》另称，布马村为2024年省级典型村。[3]

村里有光伏电站，也以牛油果与沉香种植为特色。[1]
