黎源村是新城镇辖下的行政村，属镇乡结合区。黎氏较早来此定居，村东井水殿内水源不断，“黎”与“来”音近，遂得此名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年划归新兴县第六区敦睦乡；1952年改归成睦乡；1958年11月归红旗公社，设黎源大队；1959年归洞口公社；1978年2月回归洞口公社；1983年为洞口区公所下的黎源乡；1989年6月归洞口镇，设黎源管理区；1999年改为黎源村委会。2019年9月，村列入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]
