历史沿革[edit]
1950年划归新兴县第六区晟平乡；1958年归红旗公社，设三挺大队；1959年改归洞口公社；1963年改归车岗公社；1978年回归洞口公社；1983年为洞口区公所下的三挺乡；1989年归洞口镇，设三挺管理区；1999年改为三挺村委会。[1]
2019年9月，村列入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
