陇塘村是新城镇辖下的行政村，属镇乡结合区，建村于新兴县南郊路一带。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据称彭姓先祖于元大德四年（1300年）以前由顺德龙江迁来，在此建村，延续至今。村中有梁、潘、叶、罗、钟、黄等12姓，彭姓居多，约占80%。[2] 1949年隶属新兴县第一区西云乡，叫陇塘村；1955年改归南平区西云乡；1958年归红旗公社，设陇塘大队；1964年归环城公社；1984年为环城区公所下的陇塘乡；1987年为环城乡陇塘管理区；1994年改归新城镇；1999年改为陇塘村民委员会。2019年9月，村列入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]
