2023年1月，金鱼沙村获命名为「第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」，命名方为司法部和民政部。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1962年至1979年间隶属杨柳公社，1979年至1983年为杨柳乡的金鱼沙大队。1983年改设金鱼沙乡，1986年成为村委会，1994年设管理区，1999年复为村委会，沿用至今。[1]

1994年搬迁后，原来的一村分作两处管辖。[1]

2023年4月，金鱼沙村列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
