历史沿革[edit]
两地的建制可追溯到明万历五年（1577年），当时划有都骑、杨柳两个“都”。清乾隆五年（1740年）改称两个堡，民国15年（1926年）由堡改乡。1947年（民国36年），杨柳乡与方平乡合组方杨乡。方杨乡于1958年并入都骑乡，当年10月组成太阳升人民公社；1963年3月，都骑与杨柳分设为两个人民公社。[3]
1986年，都骑改设镇，杨柳改设乡；1992年杨柳乡升为镇。1994年9月云浮设为地级市，两镇随之归云城区管辖。2014年9月，撤销云安县、设立云安区的决定经国务院同意，原属云城区的都杨镇随之划入云安区。[3][5]
地理环境[edit]
全镇面积253平方千米。地形以低山丘陵为主，西北较低而东南较高，土质为冲积土。气候为亚热带季风类型，全年降雨较多，气候温和。[1][4]
人口民族[edit]
据都杨镇政府2025年11月发布的《都杨镇概览》，全镇计有13582户，人口为56282人。[1]
经济[edit]
农产品有蜂蜜、肉鸽、火龙果、竹笋、柑桔、玉桂、冬瓜和稻谷等，杨柳冬瓜在「首批广东省地理标志培育产品清单」之列。矿产有铁矿、花岗岩和高岭土。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
「中共三罗组织革命活动旧址」包括荣昌堂和旁边的一座小炮楼。余渭泉是中共云浮县特别支部的首任书记，荣昌堂即他的祖屋，建于清代末期。抗日战争与解放战争期间（1938年至1949年），荣昌堂曾是中共粤中、西江及三罗（罗、云、郁）一带在云浮县的秘密据点和交通枢纽，抗日四乡联防办事处与中共云北区委也曾在此办公。百度百科载其为文物保护单位。[6]
镇内景点包括仙菊瀑布、南山河、大洞水库、珠川河滩、降水沙滩和湾边沙滩，此外还有西江一段。[1]
文化[edit]
2023年，都杨镇获省评“广东省信访工作示范乡镇”。2024年3月，该镇获认定为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[1][2]
