蕉坪村位于石城镇西北部山区，距镇政府驻地约23公里，与高村镇、镇安镇接壤，是镇下辖的一个行政村。[1][2] 村内辖13个自然村，1954年设云浮一区蕉坪乡，1986年改为村委会，1999年又为村委会，名称沿用至今。[2]
地理环境[edit]
蕉坪村地处镇西北部的山区，村落分散，东南距324国道约8公里，与高村镇、镇安镇接壤。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1954年设云浮一区蕉坪乡，乡政府驻本村；1958年划归新云县东方红人民公社，1961年为茶洞公社的蕉坪大队。[2]
1983年改为蕉坪乡，1986年为蕉坪村委会，1989年设蕉坪管理区，1999年又为村委会。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，蕉坪村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
