石岩村位于石城镇境内，村委会设在石岩村委，是镇下辖的一个行政村。[1] 村名取自村前一座石山及山中的大岩口，1961年分设大队，1986年改为村委会，2003年改名为石城镇石岩村村民委员会，此后未再变动。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村前有一座石山，山中有个大岩口，故名石岩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年并入东方红人民公社。1961年设立茶洞人民公社时，分为两个大队，此地为其中一个。[2]

1983年撤销人民公社，设茶洞区公所，此时为石岩乡人民政府。1986年茶洞镇设立后，此地转为石岩村委会，镇辖村的体制由此确立。[2]

1989年设石岩管理区，1998年8月改组为现在的村民委员会自治组织。2003年两镇合并为石城镇后，本村名称改为石城镇石岩村村民委员会。[2]
