名称由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，此地三面环山，河流从田洞中间穿过，两岸居民聚居，如一条河流串着一颗珍珠，故称珠洞。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1957年农业合作社期间为云浮一区珠洞乡人民政府；1958年成立新云县东方红人民公社，后又改设「珠洞七星营」。[1]
1961年设立人民公社时分设珠洞大队。1983年撤销公社，设珠洞乡政府。[1]
1986年为珠洞村委会，1989年称珠洞管理区，1999年撤销管理区，改为村委会，此名沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，珠洞村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
