茶洞村位于石城镇政府东面，地处国道324线与乡道交叉口西南，是镇下辖的一个行政村。[1][2] 村名源于村民种茶、饮茶及喝擂茶粥的习俗，1986年10月设茶洞镇，同年村级建制称茶洞村委会，1999年再回到村委会建制。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村民有种茶、饮茶、喝擂茶粥的习惯，故名。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清同治年间设茶洞堡，民国十五年改堡为乡，新中国成立后归云浮县的茶洞乡管辖。[2]

1958年并入东方红人民公社。1961年3月，另立茶洞人民公社。[2]

进入1983年，此地设为茶洞区；1986年10月茶洞镇成立，村级建制随之称茶洞村委会。管理区之设在1989年，1999年又回到村委会建制。[2]

教育与荣誉[edit]

村内设石城第二中心小学。[1]

2024年3月，茶洞村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[2] 2019年9月，茶洞村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
