东圳村是白石镇西部的行政村，距镇政府约4公里，下辖6个自然村。[1] 村内牛肚湾的赖氏宗祠与书房列为第九批广东省文物保护单位。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年至1952年，此地属第五区东圳乡。1958年归震西人民公社管辖，1961年改隶白石公社东圳生产队；1975年起改设乡制，此地属白石乡东圳大队，直到1983年；1989年为白石镇东圳管理区，1999年改称东圳村委会。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村下辖东一、田心、大围、粉电、横冲、连塘墩6个自然村，共6个村民小组，户籍1135户。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水稻为主，兼种荔枝、龙眼、黄皮和柑果等。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

赖氏族谱称，赖氏始祖赖举于明代迁居此地，其三世祖承祖遗愿造祠。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

牛肚湾赖氏宗祠与书房位于牛肚湾，列为第九批广东省文物保护单位，公布于2019年。宗祠为清光绪九年所建，砖木结构，三间二进；宗祠东侧的书房是两层的西式楼房，1937年建成，门窗呈深拱形。[3]
