白梅村是高村镇的一个行政村，据传旧时此地不少人眉毛发白，因“眉”“梅”同音而得名。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初期此地为白梅乡。1958年公社化后改称白梅大队，文革期间又叫红梅大队。1983年恢复白梅乡政府的名称。1986年成为白梅管理区，1999年定为白梅村委会，延续至今。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位名单」。[1]
