历史沿革[edit]
1958年设下四大队，1983年改设下四乡，1986年实行镇乡辖村体制，改称下四村民委员会，1989年改为下四管理区，1999年复称下四村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
2019年9月，下四村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
2017年以来，村党组织以党建带动产业，带动村民发展罗氏虾养殖；2023年建成一个50亩的百香果种植基地。[2]
