大枧村位于南盛镇西部，距云浮市区约20公里。村民自上世纪80年代初起种植柑桔，形成以果园为主的农业。[2]
2007年，大枧村被评为「广东省旅游特色村（农家果园）」；2019年10月进入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录，2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2020年8月，村庄入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，主产牛大力。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年划为乡，隶云浮县四区；1954年组织高级社，归并上级管理。1958年8月起设大枧生产大队，归幸福公社，1961年改隶南盛公社，1966年起属朝阳公社。1983年称大枧乡，由朝阳区公所管辖；1986年改为大枧村委会，隶南盛镇；1989年转管理区，1999年又定为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
