历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，刘姓始祖于1516年迁入，温姓于1660年迁入，吴姓于1693年迁入；谭、何、谢、罗等姓在清朝陆续迁入，莫、张、盘、陈、黄、廖等姓之后也有人迁来。[2]

1952年3月设罗坪乡，1986年改设罗坪村委会，1999年复称村委会，2000年2月划归前锋镇。[2]

2021年12月，罗坪村由广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。2024年1月，罗坪村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。2024年3月，罗坪村获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
