水东村是广东省云浮市云城区腰古镇的一个行政村，位于新兴江畔，国道324线经过云浮与肇庆的交界处附近。村落以明清古建筑群著称，被称为「岭南理学第一村」。[1][2]

村落始建于明永乐二年（1404年），村民以程氏为主，相传程氏先祖是北宋理学家程颢的后裔，从河南迁居岭南。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代此地为东安县的腰古堡。1941年，即民国时期，划归腰古乡；1949年新中国成立，仍属云浮县腰古乡。[3]

1958年8月仍属腰古乡；同年10月设水东生产大队，隶属激流人民公社；1961年3月改属腰古人民公社。1983年改称水东乡，1986年改称水东村委会，1989年改为水东管理区，1999年又改为水东村委会，至今隶属腰古镇。[3]

2012年12月，村落被收入「第一批中国传统村落」名录；同年5月，入选「第三批广东省历史文化名镇名村」。此前，2008年已被评为「广东省首批古村落」；2019年又列为第七批中国历史文化名村。[2][4]

2021年9月，入选第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（香麦）；2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2026年1月，获评第二批广东省“百千万工程”典型村。[2]

2025年，广东省人民政府批复了水东村的历史文化名村保护规划，规划期为2023至2035年。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中尚存明清建筑588座；祠堂与庙宇中有程氏大宗祠和明徵庙，此外还有清代的祖祠与民居。[1][2][4]

据称建筑群的布局依八卦排列，墙面兼有徽派马头墙与岭南镬耳墙的样式。[1]
