珍竹村是安塘街道的一个行政村，位于街道西南，距街道办事处约6公里，村域内有4条自然村。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
明万历年间（1577年），何氏始祖允全公从清远市迁到此地，形成村中最早的聚居处。[1][2]
1952年3月设珍竹乡，隶安塘乡；1954年3月组建珍竹高级农业生产合作社。1958年8月划属腰古乡，同年10月设珍竹生产大队，归激流人民公社；1961年起改隶夏洞人民公社。[2]
1983年改称珍竹乡，由安塘区公所领导；1986年成为珍竹村委会，隶安塘镇；1989年改为管理区，仍隶安塘镇。1994年纳入安塘街道，1999年再定名珍竹村委会，至今仍隶安塘街道。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，珍竹村被认定为2023年「广东省卫生村」。[1]
