夏洞村是安塘街道的一个行政村，位于安塘街西面约1公里处，村域内有9条自然村。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年3月，设夏洞乡，隶安塘乡。1958年8月划属腰古乡，同年10月设夏洞生产大队，归激流人民公社；1961年起改隶夏洞人民公社。[1]

1983年改称夏洞乡，由安塘区公所领导；1986年成为夏洞村委会，隶安塘镇；1989年改为夏洞管理区，仍隶安塘镇。1994年纳入安塘街道，1999年再次定名夏洞村委会，至今仍隶安塘街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，夏洞村名列2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
