白村是安塘街道的一个行政村，属城乡结合区。村名取自原先合组村委会的两个村落名称各自的后两字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝景泰六年（1455年），陈氏始祖裔昌公从德庆县迁到此地，这是村中最早的聚居处。清康熙年间，另一支陈氏先祖又从德庆县悦城镇迁入。[2]

1952年3月，此地设白村乡，隶安塘乡。1958年8月改隶腰古乡，同年10月置白村生产大队，归激流人民公社管辖；1961年起划入夏洞人民公社。[2]

1983年改为乡制，由安塘区公所领导；1986年称白村村委会，隶安塘镇；1989年改设管理区；1994年纳入安塘街道；1999年定名白村村民委员会，此后一直隶属安塘街道。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，白村被认定为「全国乡村治理示范村」。广东省爱卫会在2020年12月把「广东省卫生村」的荣誉授予白村。2021年12月，白村经民政部办公厅确认，成为「全国村级议事协商创新实验试点单位」。[1]

2022年8月，白村获定为2022年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位，同年12月纳入第四批云浮市「民主法治示范村（社区）」。2026年1月，白村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
