双上村是河口街道下辖的行政村，位于街道东北部，靠近河杨公路，是云城区的革命老区村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月双上属都骑乡。同年10月，它设为生产大队并归太阳升人民公社，1961年3月又转入河口人民公社。1983年它改为双上乡，归河元区公所；1986年变为村委会，划入河口镇；1989年成管理区，仍在河口镇。[1]

1994年，双上划归河口街道；1999年复称村民委员会，此后便隶属河口街道。[1]

解放前，游击队曾在村中隐蔽，人数最多时有200多人，他们白天在村中学习训练，帮助村民耕作。1948年1月6日，部队自双上出发，连夜行军七十多公里，前往富林待机。[2]

村内现存革命遗址「中国人民解放军粤中纵队第四支队旧址」。[3]

经济[edit]

2010年，村民人均收入为6782元，收入主要来自外出经商务工，以及种植水稻、沙塘桔和养殖业。[2]

文化[edit]

中央文明委于2015年2月作出决定，把「第四届全国文明村镇」称号授予双上村。2024年3月，双上村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
