布务村是河口街道下辖的行政村，位于街道北面，距街道办事处约1.5公里。村名的由来是旧时当地几个自然村统称为布务。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

布务在1958年8月归都骑乡，同年10月分设布务生产大队，划入太阳升人民公社；1961年3月又转入河口人民公社。1983年它成为布务乡，置于河元区公所之下。[3]

1986年此处又改为布务村委会，归河口镇管辖；1989年变作布务管理区，仍在河口镇内。1994年划归河口街道，1999年再成村委会，此后一直隶属河口街道。[3]

2019年9月，布务村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
