大台村位于云浮市云城区高峰街道辖区，属村庄类。[1]村名来自村委会办公场所所在的地形，那里像一个大圆台面。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清同治年间此地归东安县岑岗堡，民国时属云浮县罗南乡，建国后划入云浮县六都人民公社。[2]

1952年3月大台乡成立；1954年3月，大台高级农业生产合作社组建；1958年设大台生产大队，归东方红人民公社。1961至1962年间，先后归新云县云城人民公社、附城人民公社。[2]

1978年，此地并入云浮硫铁矿矿区人民公社的辖区；1983年改设大台乡，归高峰区公所；1986年大台村委会组建，归云浮县高峰镇；1989年转为大台管理区，归高峰镇。1994年起归云城区高峰街道，1999年大台村民委员会正式设立，此后仍归云浮市云城区高峰街道。[2]
