鹏石村位于云城街道辖区内，名称来自辖区中一座形如大鹏鸟的大山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年设鹏石乡，隶属附城乡；1954年成立鹏石高级农业生产合作社，1958年10月设鹏石生产大队，隶属附城人民公社。1983年改称鹏石乡，1986年改为鹏石村委会，1989年改为鹏石管理区，1994年划归云城街道，1999年正式定名为鹏石村委会。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，村上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
