历史沿革[edit]
1683年（清康熙二十二年），由惠来县葵潭一带移民在此创村。[2]
村落低洼处形似湖，故名。聚落呈块状分布。[1]
1999年起称落湖坝村委会，一直沿用至今。[1]
2019年9月，落湖坝村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
村属革命老区。[1]

村民以种植水稻、甘薯为主，青梅、油柑亦有出产。红江橙为特色产业。[1]
