历史沿革[edit]
村名来自周边群山的形状：群山环绕，形如圆盘，寓国泰民安之意。[2]
据百度百科，村子始建于1496年。[2]
此地先归惠来县葵潭区月南乡管辖。1953年划入里仁潭乡。1961年划入普宁县马鞍山农场，设泰盘管理区；1999年设为泰盘村委会。[1]
2021年8月，该村被认定为「2020年广东省森林乡村」。[2]

村中以水稻和甘薯为主要作物，青梅与油柑的出产也较多。[1]
