金钟村是普宁市大池农场下辖的行政村，位于普宁市区西北约23.9公里处，由金钟和兀头两个自然村组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

约86年前，有移民从外地迁来创村，村落位于金山之下，因此得名。[1]

1999年设立村委会，沿用至今。[1]

2019年9月，金钟村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

在2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中，金钟村以澳洲淡水龙虾入选。[1]

地理环境[edit]

建筑多为土木结构平房，部分为混凝土结构楼房。一条水泥化公路与大池公路相接。[1]
