圆明村位于后溪乡西南角的峨嵋嶂半山腰，与陆河、陆丰两县接壤，居住分散，大部分村民外出务工[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1953年划入大坪十三区，本村为第十一村。1958年鲘溪林场成立时此处称工区，1984年称管区，1990年鲘溪设乡之年改称圆明管区，1999年成为圆明村委会[1]。

荣誉方面，2019年12月本村入选第一批国家森林乡村名单[1][2]；2026年1月，本村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号[1]。

村民以种植青梅、茶叶为主[2]，村中有水电站4家[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区深山中的圆通庵，百度百科和博雅地名网均称为南宋古迹[1][2]。网易刊载的介绍则说它始建于宋代，现存庵寺为清代所建，位于海拔约600米的岩体上[3]。村辖之内还有圆通山（县级）森林公园[2][3]。
