埔楼村是后溪乡政府的驻地，属革命老区，下辖埔仔田、上楼、塘仔唇、业坑4个自然村[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1953年本村属大坪十三区第八村。1958年鲘溪林场设立时这里称工区，1984年改为管区，1990年改称埔楼管理区，1999年改为埔楼村委会[1][2]。

荣誉方面，2019年9月本村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]；2021年9月，广东省农业农村厅公布「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，本村以青梅入选[1][2]；2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局确定本村为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位[1]；2022年8月，本村被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。

村中的红军急救站旧址为春生堂药店，永福楼是1928年后溪乡年关暴动的指挥部，二者经过修复，已成为红色遗址[2][3][4]。永福楼现修复为爱国主义教育基地[3]。
