1717年，官姓由福建迁来定居。新中国成立初，此地与周边数村合为一个乡。[1]

2021年9月，田丰村被列入广东省农业农村厅第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，专业为蕹菜。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，田丰村先后列入「淘宝村」名单。[1]

2019年9月，田丰村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
