田厝寨村在镇西南，靠近安池公路（省道），一条水泥化村道接通公路，交通条件良好。[1][2]

村民以种植青榄、青梅和水稻为主，外出务工经商的人也不少。[1]

2006年，村子成为揭阳市的新农村建设示范点。2021年，村内入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产业为生猪。2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年设田厝寨乡，1958年后为大队，1986年改为管理区，1999年改设村委会，沿用至今。[1]
