桂嶂村由嶂肚、桂竹仔和大段三个自然村组成。村中山地广阔，产青梅、橄榄、乌榄、油甘和李，村道已实现水泥硬底化。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1974年称桂嶂大队，1986年改设村委会，1990年改设管理区，1999年改称村委会。2003年南阳乡撤销，村并入梅林镇管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的名单显示，桂嶂村属于2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
