再头村原称石示仔头，2011年9月经普宁市地名委批复，改称今名。村子处在癞痢石凸山北麓，山地广阔，产青梅、橄榄，盛产茶叶和毛竹。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1972年设为再头大队；1990年改设管理区；1999年设磜头村民委员会。2011年，普宁市地名委以2011年2号文件批复同意，将磜头改为再头。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月公布的名单显示，再头村属于2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
