凤池村旧称鸭池。村子三面环水，清雍正年间已成数姓聚居之地；每逢雨季水涨，村子像鸭子浮在池上，故称鸭池，后雅称凤池。村由凤池、庵埔、樟树坑三个自然村组成。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，村属南阳特区三峰乡。1958年公社化时分属三联大队与凤池大队；1961年，三个自然村一并划为凤池大队。1986年改大队为村委会，1990年改设管理区，1999年改为村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

村中山地肥沃，属产粮区；稻谷与番薯是主要作物，果树以橄榄、青梅、乌榄和油甘为多，山岭适合造林种果。[1]

文化[edit]

村民尚习文练武，有业余剧团、大锣鼓和舞狮班。[1]
