埔尾村旧称埔美村，村中有盘龙阁寺。寺址在镇东南的龙师岗，清光绪年间始建，寺周环山，为普宁市文物保护单位。埔尾村2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，村为梅峰乡下的一个自然村。1958年公社化时划归东门大队，1961年成立埔尾大队。1987年设立村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1999年又改为村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

盘龙阁寺始建于清光绪年间，寺分上下两庵，主体为单层高阁，寺周另有龙山、龟山、蛇山、象山等山体环绕。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，埔尾村列入广东省农业农村厅公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产品为青梅。[1]

2023年11月，埔尾村入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[1]

梅林镇2025年政府工作报告称埔尾村为全省首批典型村，并以之为示范。[4]
