边上村旧称大岭上村，文化大革命期间改为现名。村中以种植水稻为主，盛产香蕉、菠萝、青梅和橄榄。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1979年，边上村自成一个大队，此前是相邻大队的组成部分。1987年改设村委会，1989年改设管理区，1999年又改为村委会，并沿用至今。[1]
