庵内村曾名庵堂埔，又称庵肚，是船埔镇下辖的行政村，村中自然村有再仔下、老屋场、上寨、庵堂埔，另有下寨角、新屋仔、禾坪岗、草埔下，共八处。全村982人。[1]

村子在普宁市区西面46.8公里处，南靠烧香嶂，西靠石船嶂，东邻南阳嶂，北靠望海凸。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清初，杨姓宗亲由南阳首先迁居此处，其后陆续有他处宗亲迁来。[2]

新中国成立前属惠来县第六区，1949年属南阳山特区，1966年划归船埔公社，1980年为黄沙公社的庵内大队，1984年设庵内乡，1986年改设村，1999年改称村民委员会，2003年随黄沙乡撤乡并入船埔镇。[2]

经济[edit]

耕地405亩，山地12620亩。村民以水稻、甘薯为主要农作，另种有大芥菜、青梅、李子、柿子，还产单丛茶；林木以松、杉、竹为主。[1][3]

村中有小型水电站两座，并设小学一所。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
