大福村曾名大洋田，是船埔镇下辖的行政村，村中自然村有大洋田、窝仔、楼上，另有后福、后径、高路，共六处。[1]

村子在普宁市区西南约29公里处，属革命老区，全村人口1771人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1983年并入乡建制，1987年析出设立村委会；此后经管理区办事处阶段，1999年改为大福村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地410亩，山地4046亩。主要作物为水稻和甘薯，果品有青梅、橄榄与菠萝。村中有完全小学一所，村道已完成水泥硬底化建设。[1]
