毕石村原称笔石下，是船埔镇下辖的行政村，村中自然村有毕石下、摇前、寨仔石、住坑、庵头，共五处。[2]

村落位于普宁市区西南约30.1公里处，属革命老区，全村人口1864人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年人民公社化时并入一个大队，1961年自成大队；1983年并入乡建制；1987年析出设立村委会，1999年定为村委会，沿用至今。[2]

经济[edit]

耕地399亩，山地4670亩。农作以水稻、甘薯为主，水果有青梅、橄榄、菠萝，青梅为特产。村中设完全小学一所，有水泥路通往镇区。[2]
