两坑村曾名南泗坑，是船埔镇下辖的行政村，村中有南泗坑、马坑两个自然村。[1]

村子位于普宁市区西南约25公里处，属革命老区，全村人口1801人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年公社化时期隶属乡，六十年代后另设大队，由南泗坑、马坑两村合组而成。[1]

1983年并入乡建制，1987年析出设立村委会，1989年改为管理区办事处，1999年才定为村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

山地面积5654亩。农作以水稻、甘薯为主，青梅是本地特产。村中有一所小学，并有水泥道通往里坪公路。[1]
