天青村曾名天青湖、天井湖，是船埔镇下辖的行政村，现有住户460多户。[1][2]

村落处在丘陵之间，四面环山，中间低平，有一池塘，远望如井、近看似湖，因此称天井湖。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明末有余姓居民在此定居。[1]

新中国成立后设乡，1972年设立大队，1982年改为村，1989年改称管理区办事处，1999年改称村委会，沿用至今。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村西北有里坪公路经过，路口立有天青湖碑石与天青湖大门。[2]

经济[edit]

耕地543亩，山地4082亩。主产青梅、橄榄、香蕉等，早年曾盛产柿饼。[1][2]

文化[edit]

村中的教育与医疗设施包括一所小学和一个卫生站。[2]
