历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前，此地属陆丰县管辖，1950年3月改归普宁县。1952年属普宁县十三区田心乡。[1]
1958年，此地并入南阳山公社；1960年，农场内设德善管区，该农场当年自南阳山公社划出。1966年农场分出，组成大坪公社下的大队。1984年改为粘田乡下辖的村，1986年设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年又改为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
产业[edit]
村内青梅的种植已有七百多年，现建有1200亩青梅标准化示范基地。[2]
「善德梅海」景区依托村中的青梅林开发，占地1120亩，兼营观光。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2018年10月，农业农村部推介善德村为「2018年中国美丽休闲乡村」。[1]
善德村于2019年12月列入国家林业和草原局发布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单。[1]
善德村以青梅入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，名单在2020年8月发布。[1]
2022年8月，善德村被确定为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
